The Role

This role reports to the Chief Strategy Officer and leads the organisation’s commercial analytics capability.

Transform data into strategic actions that drive revenue growth, profitability, operational performance and business improvement.

Whilst developing and leading a Strategic Commercial Analyst you will partner with executive and senior leaders across Marketing, Finance, IT and Operations to develop strategy, establish performance frameworks, identify growth opportunities and embed data-driven decision making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead commercial analysis to identify and quantify revenue, margin and growth opportunities.





Support strategic decisions through scenario modelling, portfolio analysis and commercially aligned recommendations.

Evaluate promotional ROI, trade spend effectiveness, pricing opportunities and customer, product and channel profitability.

Define KPI frameworks, develop executive reporting and translate complex data into clear recommendations.

Partner with Data Engineering and IT teams to deliver business-aligned reporting solutions and self-service analytics.

About You

You are a commercially focused analytics leader who can turn complex data into practical, executive-ready insights. You are confident influencing senior stakeholders, building performance frameworks and leading analytics capability across a business.

7-10+ years’ experience in commercial analytics, business intelligence, strategy, finance or commercial management.

Demonstrated experience leading teams or organisational analytics capabilities.

Solid KPI framework design, performance management, commercial modelling and scenario planning capability.

Power BI proficiency with strong understanding of business intelligence environments and multiple data sources.

Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the credibility to influence executives and operational leaders.

Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics or a related field is advantageous

Candidates must have full work rights in Australia – Australian Citizen or New Zealand Citizen.
