As a Backend Developer, you will join a team of experienced software engineers responsible for developing and enhancing market-leading technology solutions. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, using modern development methodologies, tools and engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and enhance software solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
- Develop high-quality, scalable and reliable backend applications and services.
- Work within an Agile development environment and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
- Develop and maintain web services and APIs using modern technologies.
- Provide responsive technical support for software solutions and assist with issue resolution.
- Collaborate with software engineers,



technical teams and stakeholders to identify and implement best-practice solutions.
- Contribute to automated unit and integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews and technical problem-solving.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Strong experience developing high-quality web-based solutions using modern development tools and techniques.
- Strong backend development experience with .NET / C#.
- Experience developing Web Services and REST APIs.
- Experience with technologies such as WCF, gRPC and/or C++ is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalable and performant application design.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
- Experience with automated unit and integration testing.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Highly Valued Skills

- Experience deploying and hosting services on-premises and in Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Front-end development experience.
- Experience working on commercial software products or platforms.
- Experience with distributed, scalable and highly available systems.
