Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team, located in inner Brisbane. This is a part time position (32hrs per week, no weekends) where you will be responsible for the servicing and repair of a variety of light vehicles. As a valued member of our talented Automotive Trades team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and restoring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles.

What you'll be doing
n
Diagnose and repair faults in vehicles
n
Perform scheduled servicing and maintenance tasks to manufacturer specifications
n
Test and inspect vehicle components to identify and rectify any issues
n
Speaking with customers to clearly explain the work completed and any recommendations
n
Overseeing and guiding our apprentice, ensuring they learn correct processes and safe work habits
n
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
n
What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics
n
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
n




Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to a high standard
n
Good communication and willingness to share knowledge with our apprentice
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
