About The Landings

LDK Seniors Living’s luxury village, The Landings, is sprawled over 11.87-hectares in North Turramurra, on Sydney’s upper north shore. The village neighbours the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, is near Lady Davidson Private Hospital, and is a short drive to the North Turramurra golf course, bowling club, cafes and shops. The Landings comprises 220 architecturally designed one, two and three -bedroom villas and apartments. LDK creates a true sense of belonging, community, and vibrancy for residents through a variety of group activities and hospitality events. On-site facilities include an arts and craft room, gymnasium and heated indoor pool. The clubhouse amenities include The Hangar Cafe & Bar, a fireplace lounge area, a pool room, a dedicated theatre space, and a 200-seat function space.

About the Role

The Village Finance Manager is responsible for managing the financial affairs of the Village and providing accurate, timely and insightful financial information to support effective decision-making. The role partners closely with the Village General Manager, Village Leadership Team, residents and the Group Finance team to ensure strong financial management, compliance and business performance.

The role oversees budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, reporting, payroll, accounts receivable and financial compliance, while also supporting continuous improvement and the implementation of finance and business systems. The successful candidate will build strong relationships across the Village and provide clear, practical financial guidance to support both operational and strategic outcomes





Role Responsibilities

- Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including P&L; and commentary, for the Village.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow across the Village, including Recurrent Charge and Scheme Operator.
- Partner with the Village General Manager and department heads to review financial performance and agree actions.
- Ensure financial reporting and processes comply with relevant requirements, including the Retirement Villages Act (NSW) and BAS/GST obligations.
- Manage accounts receivable and respond to residents' financial enquiries.
- Act as the key finance contact for residents and liaise with the Village Residents Committee.
- Review and authorise payroll processes and manage payroll adjustments.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors and the Group Finance team.
- Support procurement compliance and effective financial controls across the Village.
- Provide financial analysis, reporting and business partnering to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support the implementation and improvement of finance, payroll and POS systems.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- CPA qualified or currently completing CPA.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced and developing business environment.
- Strong financial analysis, reporting and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated experience using Xero.
- Experience in the retirement village sector is desirable but not essential.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective relationships with residents,



leaders and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues, solve problems and contribute to continuous improvement.
