Commonwealth Treasury in Canberra seeks an EL2 Legislative Drafter to lead the in-house drafting function with a high degree of independence and initiative. You will oversee complex instruments, provide strategic drafting guidance, and manage priorities and resources for timely delivery.

The role demands senior technical oversight, collaboration with policy teams and agencies, and the development of Treasury’s drafting capability and standards. Excellent leadership and judgment are essential.
