As a Senior Lead Data Analyst, you will partner across Stryker's complex business to understand pain points, deliver impactful reporting, and drive action through change management. You will be able to flex your advanced technical data analysis capabilities while also acting as a business-facing consultant in order to drive real commercial impact.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and project leadership in the team's day-to-day project portfolio.

Demonstrate financial acumen to develop financial impacts for existing projects and evaluating new opportunities.

Orchestrate collaboration with Stryker enterprise across functions to leverage domain expertise and capabilities.

Manage expectations on timing and scope of project work.

Identify opportunities and lead discussions where data analytics can be applied to real-world business opportunities with key stakeholders.

Mentor and coach data analytics colleagues in developing their skills.

Demonstrate creative ability to recommend visualizations of data that empower key business stakeholders more easily interpret complex information and quickly identify key insights.

Orchestrate presentations and communications through effective conveying of complex analyses up to the leadership level.





Lead and mentor others in root cause/problem solving efforts.

Experience & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field with applicable technical degree preferred

6+ years of work experience required

Experience with project management (Waterfall & Agile methodologies). Experience leading end-to-end data analytics projects: from problem and requirements definition to code/model validation and deployment.

Demonstrate financial acumen to develop financial impacts for existing projects and evaluating current opportunities.

Skilled in programming languages and data structures.

Skilled in least one programming language central to data analytics (e.g. SQL, Python, R, DAX, M) or proficient in at least two languages.

Skilled in data transformation and cleansing and relational database and data modeling concepts.

Skilled in data governance concepts including the need for documented definitions, calculations, sources, lineage, etc.

Skilled in business intelligence and analytics platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
