Job Description
In this role, you'll build therapeutic relationships, contribute to individualised care planning and support positive patient outcomes within a complex, high-acuity haematology and oncology inpatient environment.
Key responsibilities
You'll provide high-quality, evidence-based, consumer-centred care while working collaboratively with patients, families and the broader multidisciplinary team.
Provide secure, high-quality and evidence-based nursing care in accordance with qualified standards and Barwon Health requirements.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and communicate effectively to support continuity of care.
Contribute to patient safety, quality improvement, audits and service development initiatives within the clinical environment.
What you need
Registered Nurse with minimum of 12 months acute nursing experience.
Previous cancer nursing experience desired but not essential.
Robust clinical judgment and ability to remain calm under pressure.
