Site Safety Coordinator – Major
InfrastructureProject

We are seeking an experienced Site Safety Coordinator to join a major infrastructure project in Southern NSW.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a safety coordinator with construction, infrastructure or tunnelling experience to join a complex, high-risk project and support the coordination of site safety activities.
n
The Role reporting to the project safety leadership team, you will coordinate site-based safety activities and support the implementation of WHS systems across the project.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Coordinate site safety activities and resources
n
Provide WHS advice to construction and project teams
n
Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments
n
Support incident investigations and corrective actions
n
Monitor and report safety performance
n
Ensure WHS systems and processes are implemented across site
n
Participate in construction planning and coordination meetings




n
Liaise with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders
n
Promote a strong and proactive safety culture
n
n
About You
n
n
4+ years' construction and/or tunnelling safety experience
n
Experience across major infrastructure or complex construction projects
n
Robust knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and safety systemsExperience with audits, investigations and risk assessments
n
Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Tunnelling or underground construction experience highly regarded
n
OFSC experience highly regarded
n
Diploma in WHS or equivalent
n
White Card and driver's licence
n
n
