Job Description
Are you an experienced Payroll Officer looking for your next contract opportunity? We are partnering with a leading organisation based on Brisbane's city fringe to recruit two Payroll Officers for an immediate start on a 3-month temporary assignment, paying $45 per hour + superannuation. Working within a collaborative finance team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services while supporting employees and stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Process end-to-end payroll in accordance with relevant legislation, awards, and company policies.
n
Validate, enter, and maintain payroll data accurately.
n
Prepare payroll for bank submissions and financial system processing.
n
Complete payroll reconciliations and reporting activities.
n
Process manual payments when required.
n
n
About You:
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Extensive experience working as a Payroll Officer, ideally within a medium to large organisation.
n




Robust understanding of payroll legislation, awards, compliance, and payroll best practice.
n
Experience processing high-volume payrolls with exceptional attention to detail.
n
Excellent problem-solving and reconciliation skills.
n
n
