Built from humble beginnings, Sonoma Baking Company has grown into one of Australia's most respected artisan bakeries - known for our uncompromising quality, signature sourdough, and the passionate people behind every loaf.
We're looking for a reliable and hands-on Baker's Hand to join our La Farina production team.
This is a outstanding opportunity for someone with some bakery or food production experience who is keen to learn, develop their skills and grow with an experienced team.
The Role
This is a full time, hands-on role working 9:30am to 5:30pm.
You'll support the Head Baker and wider production team with the day-to-day operation of the bakery, including preparing production areas, lining baskets and couches, organising equipment, preparing trays and baking tins, and helping maintain a clean, protected and organised work environment.
What you'll bring

A willingness to learn and develop your skills with on-the-job training
Some experience in a bakery, commercial kitchen or food production setting is preferred, but extensive experience is not required
A strong work ethic and positive attitude
Physically able to perform a hands-on role and work on your feet throughout the shift
Good attention to cleanliness, hygiene and safe work practices
Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
Full working rights in Australia
Why Sonoma?
We're a team that takes our craft seriously and supports each other to keep getting better.
This is a great opportunity to build your bakery skills, learn from experienced bakers and grow your career with one of Australia's leading artisan bakeries.
