Legal and Client Support Officer, Women's Homelessness

The HPLSWomen'sServiceis a gendered service that providesspecialistassistanceto women, trans and gender diverse people who are atrisk of being evicted, homeless, and/or facing other barriers to accessing and maintaining protected and stable housing.
Reporting to the Managing Solicitor, theLegal and Client Support Officerprovides paralegal and administrative support for thesolicitors working in theHPLS Women's Service as well as directly supporting clients.
Additionally, you will:




manage and process client files including drafting outcome letters.
liaise and correspond with courts, tribunals, police,governmentagenciesandotherexternalorganisations.
provide trauma-informed,accessibleandresponsive intake services.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a legal practiceorrelevantprofessionalservice workplace.
You will also have:
experience in the delivery of administrative support services including word processing and data entry skills.
demonstrated ability tokeepaccuraterecordsandmaintainclient confidentiality.
excellent interpersonal communications skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients, andexternalstakeholders.
