Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee and optimise all aspects of receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations at our Sydney facility. This role requires a energetic leader with solid organisational skills and the ability to ensure operational excellence while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
n Your day to day will include:

Operational Oversight:
n

Lead all receiving, storage, maintenance, and dispatch operations.
n
Develop and enforce company policies and procedures to achieve desired operational outcomes.
n
Ensure service levels and operational processes meet company standards.
n
n
Inventory Management:
n
n
Ensure accurate and efficient management of goods entering and leaving the Sydney facility.
n
Maintain proper inventory controls in compliance with company policies.
n
Schedule and manage agency staff for tasks such as container unloading, labeling, and other resource-intensive operations.
n

Customer Support:
n
n
Address and resolve customers' urgent requirements effectively.
n
Ensure all customer needs are met through accurate communication and execution of processes.
n

Vendor Compliance:

Oversee incoming goods inspection and ensure all items are checked, recorded, and documented promptly in accordance with company standards.

Staff Management and Development:
n
n
Enhance staff performance through coaching, counselling, and disciplinary measures as needed.

Promote a collaborative and high-performing work setting.

Site Security and Maintenance:
n
n
Maintain a safe, secure, and clean facility, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
n
Uphold policies, procedures, and communication to ensure equipment and offices are properly maintained and secure.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or operations management, in a cold food-related industry.
n
Strong leadership and team management skills.
n
