Responsibilities

Proven capability in delivering explicit instruction in key areas such as Literacy and Numeracy.
Understand cognitive load theory.
Implement best practice instruction, curriculum planning (evidence-based, knowledge-rich, coherent and sequenced) and assessment practice.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team setting.
Key Requirements:
VIT registration and accreditation to teach in a Catholic school (or willingness to undertake accreditation).
Solid interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusting, learning-focused relationships with staff, students and families.
A commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
A proactive approach to qualified growth, including giving and receiving feedback.
