An excellent opportunity is available for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join a well-established multidisciplinary mental health service at Manning Base Hospital within the Hunter New England Local Health District.
n
You will work alongside experienced Consultant Psychiatrists, junior medical staff, nurses, and allied health specialists, delivering high-quality care to consumers and their families across the Lower Mid North Coast region of New South Wales.
n
Adult inpatient mental health services are delivered at Manning Hospital, with community mental health services supporting patients throughout the region.
n
This Position Offers The Chance To

Provide specialist psychiatric assessment and treatment
n
Work within a team-oriented multidisciplinary team
n
Contribute to teaching and supervision of junior medical staff
n
Deliver care across inpatient and community mental health services
n




Help support and shape mental health services in a growing regional community
n

Applicants Must Have
n
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists
n
n
Eligibility for Specialist Registration with AHPRA
n
Candidates within 6 months of achieving Fellowship are encouraged to apply
