Job Description
Working with the Floor Supervisor and Director, you will help move each job from order through production, quality control and dispatch. This is a hands-on coordination role combining practical production work with factory operations support.

Key responsibilities
n
Working hands-on alongside the production team
n
Preparing, handling and processing glass safely
n
Learning to operate specialised glass-laminating machinery and equipment
n
Assisting with loading, production, quality checks and dispatch
n
Coordinating the daily production schedule with the Floor Supervisor
n
Preparing job sheets, production records and quality documentation
n
Monitoring materials, consumables and stock requirements
n
Assisting with purchasing and supplier follow-up
n
Maintaining batch records, checklists and compliance documentation
n
Coordinating freight, deliveries and collections
n
About you
n
Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, glass, engineering, construction or a similar practical setting
n
Solid hands-on mechanical or technical ability




n
Good computer and administrative skills
n
The ability to read measurements, job sheets and basic technical information
n
Strong organisation and follow-through
n
A practical approach to problem-solving
n
A genuine commitment to workplace safety and quality
n
The ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position
n
A current driver's licence
n
The ability to work effectively as part of a small team
