Delivery Driver / Food Production Assistant

The primary responsibility of this position is delivering orders to customers across Sydney in a refrigerated delivery vehicle. During quieter delivery periods, you will also assist the production team in the factory with general food production, packing and warehouse duties. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys driving but is also versatile and willing to work in a hands-on factory setting.

Key responsibilities

Deliver chilled and frozen products to restaurants across Sydney
n
Load and unload customer orders
n
Check invoices and ensure the correct products are delivered to each customer
n
Maintain an organised and clean delivery vehicle
n
Assist with packing and vacuum sealing products
n
Label, box and organise finished products
n
Move cartons and products within the factory
n
Assist with general production and warehouse duties when required
n




Maintain a clean and hygienic food production environment
n
Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures
n
n
About you
n
n
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
n
Comfortable driving around Sydney and making multiple deliveries
n
Friendly and qualified when dealing with restaurant customers
n
Physically capable of loading, unloading and moving cartons (6 to 20KG)
n
Comfortable working in chilled and refrigerated environments
n
Willing to help in the factory when deliveries are quiet
n
Able to follow instructions and work efficiently
n
Careful and organised when checking orders and invoices
n
Good driving record
n
Ability to perform manual handling duties
n
Reliable transport to and from work
n
