Job Description
The role includes participation in Stroke/Neurology and Ambulatory rotations, contributing to acute and consultative neurology services.

Key responsibilities
n

You will gain experience across general neurology and subspecialty areas including Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke/TIA, Movement Disorders, Vestibular disorders and Cognitive Neurology.
n
You will be supported by Neurologists providing leadership in acute stroke care, including thrombolysis and decision-making around clot retrieval.
n
Provide supervised day-to-day clinical management of ambulatory and admitted neurology patients.
n
Participate in acute stroke and neurology services including ward rounds, consults and clinics.
n

What you need
n
n
Postgraduate experience in internal medicine; completion of or progress toward RACP examinations.
n
Solid clinical, communication and teamwork skills with commitment to patient-centred care.
n
Demonstrated commitment to education, quality improvement and secure clinical practice.
