Experienced Estimator (Shopfitting & Joinery)

Please note: This is a full time office-based position. Candidates must be able to work from our Wetherill Park office in Sydney.

We are a growing construction company specialising in commercial fitouts and joinery, and we're looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team.
n
This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and play an key role in preparing accurate estimates and competitive tenders.
n
About the Role
n
You will be responsible for:
n
n
Reviewing construction, architectural and joinery drawings
n
Preparing quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates
n
Pricing materials, labour and subcontractor costs
n
Obtaining and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations
n
Preparing project estimates and tender submissions
n
Assisting with variations, cost planning and project budgeting
n




Working closely with Project Managers and the wider team
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Proven experience in Fitouts and/or Joinery is highly desirable
n
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings
n
Experience with quantity take-offs, estimating and tender pricing
n
Good knowledge of construction materials and subcontractor costs
n
Robust attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
n
Reliable, motivated and able to work independently
n
