Entry-level automotive role with hands-on training and a potential apprenticeship pathway.

All Four x 4 is looking for an Automotive Trades Assistant to join our Gearbox, Differential & Component Rebuilds Team at Kotara.
n
This is an entry-level automotive role and would suit someone with good hands-on mechanical ability who is looking to build a long-term career in the automotive industry.
n
You do not need previous automotive industry experience or a trade qualification. What is significant is that you are mechanically minded, enjoy pulling things apart and understanding how they work, and can demonstrate practical mechanical experience. This may have come from working on your own cars, motorbikes, 4WDs, machinery or other mechanical projects.

For the right person, there is also the chance for this role to develop into a Light Vehicle Mechanic apprenticeship.

What your day-to-day will involve
n
Working alongside our experienced Component Rebuilds Team, your role will include:
n

Disassembling gearboxes, transfer cases, differentials and other automotive components
n
Cleaning and preparing components for inspection and rebuilding
n
Sandblasting, cleaning and painting components
n
Assisting with the inspection and assessment of dismantled parts
n
Sorting, identifying and maintaining component and parts stock
n
Preparing components and work areas for our rebuild technicians
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and productive rebuilds room
