The Role
The Therapeutic Foster Care Case Manager is responsible for delivering trauma informed, culturally protected case management for Aboriginal children and young people in therapeutic foster care placements and home-based care foster care placements.
This role places Aboriginal self-determination, cultural identity, and connection to Country at the centre of all practice.
The Case Manager will ensure that Aboriginal children and young people are supported to remain connected to family, community, culture, and Country.
The role works collaboratively with carers, families, cultural mentors, therapeutic specialists, Child Protection,
and other services to promote stability, safety, healing, and solid cultural identity for children and young people in care.
This position also supports the recruitment and retention of Foster Carers.
