Job Description
Strong knowledge of welding, brazing, and soldering techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and assembly of boilers, tanks, and other vessels
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a variety of tools including hand tools, welding equipment, cutting torches etc.
Fabricate metal parts by using various processes such aswelding,brazing,andsoldering.
Install recent boiler components like valves,fittings etc. for complete assembly.
Maintain existingboilers,tanks,vesselswhen required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of formal apprenticeship program or relevant experience in the field
Valuable understanding in safety procedures
Familiarity with different types of metals used for construction.
