As Principal Lead, Trainingand Regulatory Capability, you will lead the design and implementation ofthe systems that support consistent, lawful and effective compliance andenforcement under the Tobacco and E-Cigarette Products Act 1997.

You may come from a policy,regulatory, compliance, training, governance or related background. Essentially,you will be someone who can bring people together and build systems thatimprove consistency and capability.

You will build three key areasfrom the ground up:

- In-housetraining programs:
Lead the design and implementation of In-house training programs for thespecialty compliance workforce.
- Operatingprocedures:
Establish and maintain operating procedures, guides and knowledge resourcesthat support consistent regulatory practice.
- Knowledgemanagement framework:
Develop and govern a centralised knowledge management framework that keepspolicies, templates and procedures accurate and current.

You will build strongrelationships , and help teamsapply complex legislative and regulatory requirements with confidence andconsistency.

The Attorney-General’s Department (AGD) is a key portfolio within the South Australian Government, employing more than 1,900 staff. Consumer and Business Services (CBS) is a division of the Attorney-General’s Department and is responsible for protecting consumers, supporting and regulating businesses and recording significant life events for South Australians. CBS is customer focussed and adaptable in its activities, providing accessible information and services.

This role contributes to the strategic goals of CBS through strategic and operational oversight of a portfolio of significant projects aimed at improving the security, efficiency, and effectiveness of CBS operations. This includes maintaining and improving customer service standards across CBS in line with SA government initiatives.
