Actemium Australia is looking for motivated school leavers and aspiring tradespeople to join our 2027 Apprenticeship Program as an Apprentice Sheetmetal Fabricator.

n

You'll complete a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification while learning practical fabrication and engineering skills alongside experienced tradespeople.

As an apprentice,



you'll develop hands‐on fabrication skills in a practical working environment while gaining the experience and qualification needed for a rewarding career.

n

WHAT YOU'LL DO

n

Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll work alongside experienced tradespeople and develop practical skills in areas such as:

n

Sheet metal fabrication

n

Measuring, marking, cutting, bending and shaping materials

n

Reading and interpreting technical drawings

n

Using hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment

n

Assembling and fitting fabricated components

n

Welding and finishing techniques

n

Checking finished work for accuracy and quality

n

Following safe workshop and manufacturing practices

n

Working as part of professional workshop and project teams

n

You'll have the opportunity to build your confidence and technical skills while working on a variety of fabrication projects

n

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

n

We're looking for people who:

n

Enjoy designing, making, assembling or repairing things

n

Like practical work and learning through hands‐on experience

n

Take pride in producing quality work

n

Are reliable, safety-focused and willing to learn

n

Communicate well and enjoy working as part of a team

n





Want to build a long-term trade career

n

You don't need previous industry experience. We're interested in your attitude, practical curiosity and willingness to learn.

n

To be considered, you will:

n

Have completed, or be completing, Year 12

n

Have sound results in Maths and English

n

Hold, or be working towards, a manual driver's licence

n

Hold, or be willing to obtain, a White Card

n

Experience with engineering, manufacturing, graphics, design, metalwork, automotive studies, technical drawing, workshop subjects or a school-based trade program will be well regarded, but is not essential.
