The role will involve developing, deploying, testing, and supporting integration services connecting internal applications, platforms, and external systems.

The successful candidate should be technically strong and capable of independently delivering integration solutions across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design through development, testing, deployment, production support, and hypercare.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Integration Developer with strong hands‑on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, REST APIs, and microservices. The role will involve developing, deploying, testing, and supporting integration services connecting internal applications, platforms, and external systems.

The successful candidate should be technically solid and capable of independently delivering integration solutions across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design through development, testing, deployment, production support, and hypercare.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable integration solutions.
- Leverage approved AI‑assisted engineering tools, preferably Codex, for API design, code development, test generation, code analysis, and automated reviews.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Java/Spring Boot‑based microservices.




- Design and implement RESTful APIs and event‑driven integration services.
- Build and manage Apache Kafka producers, consumers, topics, and consumer groups.
- Implement effective Kafka strategies covering partitioning, offset management, retries, error handling, and dead‑letter queues.
- Ensure reliable and consistent message processing through idempotency, schema management, and appropriate delivery guarantees.
- Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit and relevant testing frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering, security, testing, coding, and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, business analysts, developers, testers, and support/operations teams.
- Diagnose and resolve integration and application issues across development, test, and production environments.
- Support CI/CD processes, automated deployments, and release activities.
- Monitor integration services, Kafka workloads, application performance, logs, alerts, and operational health.
- Investigate production incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Create and maintain technical design documents, support guides, and operational procedures.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, estimation, sprint planning, and delivery activities.

Essential Technical Skills

- Strong hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and integration design patterns.
- Familiarity with **secure AI‑assisted development
