Avisa Cook – Full Time Panlasang Pinoy – Kogarah, NSW Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 per annum + superannuation Full-time – 38 hours per week Panlasang Pinoy is an established family-owned restaurant specialising in authentic Filipino cuisine. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our team in Kogarah on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality Filipino dishes, maintaining consistent food preparation standards and supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the kitchen.

Benefits Task & responsibilities

Key duties and responsibilities include: Preparing and cooking meals in accordance with established recipes and restaurant standards Preparing, cooking and presenting a range of Filipino dishes Checking the quality of ingredients and prepared food Portioning food and ensuring consistency in preparation and presentation Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Maintaining food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards Monitoring food stock and advising when supplies need replenishment Storing,



freezing and preserving food correctly to maintain freshness and minimise waste Following established kitchen procedures and food preparation methods Working closely with chefs, kitchen staff and waiting staff to ensure efficient service Assisting with the organisation and cleanliness of food preparation and storage areas Working efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining food quality

Qualifications & experience

Qualifications and experience: Relevant commercial cookery qualification cert IV plus 2 years of experirence Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in a commercial kitchen Atleast 3 years of closely related experience will substitute for formal qualifications.

Experience preparing Filipino cuisine is highly regarded Sound knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced kitchen Good communication, organisational and time-management skills Ability to work effectively as part of a kitchen team About Company Panlasang Pinoy is an established family-owned restaurant specialising in authentic Filipino cuisine.
