We are seeking a professional and welcoming Receptionist to join the team at Black Truck & Ag in Roma, QLD. This is a full-time position based on-site at our Roma location. As the first point of contact for our clients, visitors, and staff, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive impression of our business. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our office, ensuring that all incoming enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently whilst maintaining our high standards of customer service.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming visitors, clients, and delivery personnel in a professional and friendly manner

Answering and directing telephone calls to the appropriate team members

Managing the reception desk and maintaining a tidy, organised front office area

Scheduling appointments and managing the office calendar

Handling incoming and outgoing mail and parcels

Providing general administrative support to various departments as required

Processing visitor sign-in procedures and maintaining security protocols

Taking messages and relaying information accurately to relevant staff members

Responding to routine enquiries both in person and via telephone or email

Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information

What we're looking for

Proven experience working as a Receptionist or in a similar front-of-house administrative role

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written





Qualified appearance and a friendly, welcoming demeanor

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other standard office software

Ability to handle multiple telephone lines and manage calls professionally

High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality

Flexibility and willingness to support other team members when required

Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks
