In this role, you will, collaborate closely with our frontline staff, providing timely, high-quality legal advice to help manage customer legal matters efficiently and represent the QPT before courts and tribunals, ensuring our legal positions are effectively communicated and upheld.

This is a permanent full‑time or part‑time position based in Brisbane, offering professional development opportunities and the chance to make a genuine difference through your legal work. - Work across a diverse legal practice: Provide legal advice and representation across succession, trusts, property, elder and disability law matters and contribute to the delivery of high-quality legal services for Queenslanders.
- Build your legal expertise: Represent QPT before courts and tribunals while developing specialist expertise in complex and challenging legal matters.
- Make a difference for Queenslanders: Provide trusted legal advice and support that helps protect the rights, interests and wishes of vulnerable customers and their families.

About you

You bring a solid foundation in legal practice with a focus on delivering high-quality, efficient, and customer-oriented legal services.



Your experience or ability to quickly adapt to complex legal environments will be crucial in providing effective representation and advice. You are an excellent communicator, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.

To excel in this role, the following attributes will be your keys to success:

- Possession of a degree in Law or equivalent is mandatory.
- You must be admitted or eligible for immediate admission as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland, and eligible for a current practicing certificate and entry in the High Court Register of Practitioners.
- Proficiency in any of the following areas of law: property law, succession law, elder/disability law, equity and trusts, and litigation across state and commonwealth courts and tribunals.
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment in all legal matters.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic legal environment, handling complex and diverse cases with cutting-edge solutions.
- Commitment to delivering superior legal services with a customer-focused approach, ensuring timely and effective resolution of legal issues.
