About the Role

n

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will take ownership of residential projects, working closely with clients, architects, builders, suppliers and our internal team to bring each project to life.

n

You will be involved across the full design process, from initial concepts and presentations through to detailed documentation, selections, procurement and project delivery.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead interior design projects from concept to completion
n
- Develop strong design concepts, mood boards, material palettes and presentations
n
- Prepare detailed interior design documentation, specifications and schedules
n
- Develop furniture, finishes, fixtures, lighting and joinery selections
n
- Liaise confidently with clients, architects, builders, trades and suppliers
n
- Attend site meetings, inspections and project presentations
n
- Manage project timelines, budgets and design deliverables
n
- Coordinate procurement and oversee the delivery and installation of furniture and finishes
n
- Review drawings and ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction
n
- Mentor and support junior designers
n
- Contribute creatively to the studio's overall design direction and brand
n

About You

n





We are looking for someone who is:

- Highly experienced in residential interior design, experience in commercial design is highly desirable.
n
- Creative, sophisticated and commercially minded
n
- Confident presenting concepts and ideas to clients
n
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
n
- Experienced in managing multiple projects and deadlines
n
- Confident communicating with builders, architects and consultants
n
- Passionate about materials, finishes, furniture and contemporary design
n
- Proactive, solutions-focused and able to work independently
n
- A natural leader who enjoys collaborating and mentoring others
n
- Professional, personable and committed to delivering exceptional client experiences
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Minimum 5+ years' professional interior design experience
n
- Relevant qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related discipline
n
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end residential
n
- Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture and suppliers
n
- Strong understanding of construction and interior detailing
n
- Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and/or Revit
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Solid project management and organisational skillsAustralian residential design and construction experience highly regarded
n
