Job Description

You'll run estimating and assist in production for the shop, reporting to the Shop Manager. This is a chance to help shape how a new shop runs rather than slot into someone else's system.

Key responsibilities

n

Quote and estimate repairs accurately, liaising directly with insurers and customers

n

Plan and manage the production schedule so jobs move efficiently from intake to delivery

n

Coordinate the workshop floor - technicians, parts, and timelines - to keep cycle times tight

n

Own quality control and sign-off before vehicles go back to customers

n

Help set up the processes and systems for a brand-recent site, since there's no existing playbook to inherit

n

Support the shop's push for insurer accreditation as it comes online

About you

n

Solid experience as an estimator and/or production manager in a panel,



crash repair, or smash repair shop

n

Comfortable working independently and building things from scratch, rather than following an established system

n

Confident dealing directly with insurers, customers, and a small workshop team

n

Strong organisational skills and an eye for quality

n

Genuinely keen to grow with an independent operator as the shop scales up
