You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of business and individual clients and delivering high-quality accounting, taxation and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
- Preparing monthly and quarterly BAS and IAS
- Managing client correspondence and liaising with the ATO and other relevant authorities
- Providing tax planning and business advisory services
- Assisting clients with their ongoing accounting and taxation requirements
- Managing your own workflow and meeting client and statutory deadlines
- Using technology and cloud-based systems to improve efficiency and client service

About you

- 5+ years' experience in public practice
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- CA, CPA or currently working towards qualification
- Experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns




- Knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance requirement
- Experience with Xero, MYOB and cloud-based accounting/tax platforms
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- The confidence to work independently while contributing to a team

Renumeration

$85,000 to $150,000 + superannuation + car parking based on experience and knowledge
