I'm currently recruiting an Associate or Senior Associate to join the Melbourne TMT team of a leading top-tier Australian firm.

For lawyers who enjoy technology work but don't want to be confined to one narrow area, this is a particularly interesting opportunity.

What will you work on?

The practice sits across major transactional, commercial and regulatory matters, including:

- Data & AI including governance, regulation, commercialisation and AI-related transactions
- Cyber including incident response, investigations and regulatory advice
- Major technology and telecommunications projects
- Data centres and digital infrastructure
- Outsourcing and digital transformation
- Technology aspects of M&A;, integrations and corporate carve-outs
- Start-up, innovation and media-related matters





You'll work with major Australian and international clients across sectors including technology, financial services, infrastructure, healthcare and media.

The opportunity

The team offers exposure to different Partners and a broad range of matters, giving you the chance to build a solid TMT foundation while gradually developing a specialism around the areas that interest you most.

There is flexibility around level, with the firm interested in speaking with lawyers from Associate through to Senior Associate.

Ideally, you'll have experience within a recognised TMT practice, particularly across technology contracting and areas such as privacy, data or cyber.

Australian lawyers currently overseas and considering a move back to Melbourne are also encouraged to get in touch.
