We are seeking a Sales Team Member to join the team at Barbeques Galore Bendigo. This is a full-time position based in Bendigo, VIC 3550. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our customer service operations, helping customers find the perfect barbeque, outdoor furniture and accessories to suit their needs. You will play a vital part in delivering an exceptional shopping experience and driving sales for our retail business.

Key responsibilities

- Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service to all visitors, assisting them in selecting the right products for their requirements
- Demonstrate product features and benefits, including barbeques, outdoor furniture, and related accessories
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash and card payments
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked retail environment
- Build positive relationships with customers and encourage repeat business through excellent service
- Answer customer enquiries regarding product specifications, pricing and availability
- Assist with stock management, including receiving, checking and displaying merchandise
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives
- Participate in product training sessions to develop knowledge of our range
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and safety standards

- A customer-focused mindset with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service
- Basic numeracy skills and experience using point-of-sale systems or willingness to learn




- Physical ability to move stock items and work on your feet for extended periods
- A reliable and punctual approach with strong attendance
- Team player mentality with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of outdoor entertaining, barbeques or garden products is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
- Enthusiasm for building product knowledge and staying informed about industry trends
