About the role
This initial four-week assignment offers a varied mix of white-collar recruitment, employee lifecycle, cyclical HR activity and project support.
Working within a small HR team, you will provide practical support across day-to-day HR operations including
- Managing white-collar recruitment processes from briefing through to offer
- Preparing presentations and supporting materials for talent and succession planning
- Coordinating information, reporting and documentation for cyclical HR activities
- Preparing employee correspondence and maintaining accurate HR records
- Providing support across broader HR initiatives as required
About you
You will be a capable,
hands-on HR practitioner who can quickly understand a new workplace and keep work moving. You will ideally bring:
- Previous experience in an HR generalist or HR Advisor role
- Demonstrated experience managing white-collar recruitment
- A working knowledge of Australian employment legislation
- Comfortable operating in an evolving environment where processes may not always be clearly defined
- Able to use initiative and sound judgement while helping to build practical HR processes and documentation
- Energised by the opportunity to contribute to a growing and increasingly mature people function
