This is a outstanding opportunity for a planning professional looking to build on their experience across planning, policy and planning projects within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Our client is open to candidates at different stages of their planning career, with at least 18 months' relevant experience preferred and broader experience highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide planning advice and support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to planning projects, policies and planning frameworks.
- Assist with the preparation and review of planning documentation and amendments.
- Undertake research, analysis and prepare high-quality reports and submissions.
- Support planning projects from research and analysis through to implementation.
- Assist with stakeholder and community engagement activities.
- Work collaboratively with a range of internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to planning processes, continuous improvement and effective service delivery.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

- Tertiary qualification in Planning or a related discipline.
- Eligibility for membership of a relevant professional planning or related industry body.
- Ideally 18 months or more of relevant planning experience.
- An understanding of planning legislation, policy and planning processes.
- Strong analytical, written and report-writing skills.




- Explicit and confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage competing priorities.
- Local government experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience in areas such as planning policy, structure planning, urban design, heritage or community consultation will be well regarded.
- Current C class driver's licence is desirable.
