About the role

We’re looking for a Practice Development & Client Engagement Manager to help the licensed financial advice firms in our GPS Wealth network build stronger, more successful and more valuable businesses.

Reporting to the Head of GPS Wealth, this role blends practice development, business coaching and adviser engagement with ownership of the Game of Money — our market-leading proprietary client engagement framework. You’ll work side by side with advisers and practice leaders to drive business growth, lift client outcomes and strengthen adviser capability, while shaping and scaling a framework that is transforming how advisers communicate the value of advice.

What you’ll do

- Build trusted relationships with advice firms across the GPS Wealth network and support them to grow sustainably.
- Coach firms on operational efficiency, business performance and profitability.
- Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of the Game of Money framework, resources and tools.
- Deliver training workshops, webinars and coaching sessions that build adviser capability and confidence.
- Help advisers embed the framework into their advice process and client engagement model.
- Contribute to our events program, including National Conference and Professional Development Days.




- Champion professionalism, ethical conduct and client-first advice, escalating risks and issues early.

What you’ll bring

- At least 7 years’ experience in financial advice or wealth management.
- A degree in Business, Commerce, Financial Planning or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in practice development, adviser coaching or relationship management, ideally within a licensee or adviser network.
- Strong commercial acumen and a solid grasp of what drives growth and profitability in an advice business.
- Confident facilitation, coaching and presentation skills.
- Experience driving adoption of technology-enabled solutions, projects or change initiatives.
- A genuine passion for helping advisers build better businesses and deliver better client outcomes.
