We're a family-run business, deeply rooted in values that span generations. As we expand, we're looking for a Forklift Operator to join us on this exciting journey and play a pivotal role in the future of Rombola Family Farms in Griffith, NSW, Mataranka, NT, Douglas-Daly, NT and Bundaberg, QLD.

About the role:

n

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Forklift Driver will support harvest operations by carrying out a series of jobs including bins' receival, weighting, packing, transporting, and loading of produce into the cool room and trucks as directed.

n

Key operational accountabilities include:

n

n
- Ensure trailers are loaded in a timely manner.
n
- Stack bins in correct group of 3.
n
- Load cool room as directed by Packhouse Manager.
n
- Stage loads as directed.
n
- Ensure seedless cool room drains are clear and flowing.
n
- Load bins on and off scales.
n
- Stack up made bins.
n
- Ensure pallets and cardboard ready for bin makers.
n




- Stage loads as directed.
n
- Daily Forklift checks completed. Inspecting and controlling equipment to identify wear and damage.
n
- Ensure weights in bins are correct.
n
- Ensure correct size seedless used when finalising weight.
n
- Blow and wipe down bins and seedless.
n
- Ensure all bin labels are on bins and label info is correct.
n
- Ensure Pack Manager is entered correct.
n
- Ensure truck is load as directed.
n

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

n

n
- Current unencumbered Driver's Licence
n
- Proven experience as a forklift operator
n
- Capable of working in a quick-paced environment with a can-do attitude
n
- Team player who can work effectively with people from different backgrounds
n
- Awareness and ability to adhere to rules and procedures
n
- Flexibility in hours worked to achieve operational targets
n
- Good written and verbal communication skills
n
