About You
The ideal candidate will have solid pharmacy experience and demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and take accountability for their work. Strong problem‑solving skills, initiative, and the ability to manage a diverse workload with competing priorities are essential.
You will be supported by a team of experienced senior technicians who excel across all areas of hospital pharmacy services. Our close‑knit team fosters a collegial culture that encourages both professional and personal growth,
with opportunities for further education and skill development for those eager to expand their scope.
Requirements
- This position is identified for applicants of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander descent. Are you of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent?
- Completed a minimum of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Certificate III issued by a Registered Training Organisation in Hospital Pharmacy or Community Dispensary or has qualifications deemed by the employer to be equivalent.
- Able to demonstrate excellent dispensing skills/techniques including calculation and measurement skills
- Participate in weekend and public holiday rosters and do overtime as required.

- An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.
- This position is full time; however, part time/job share arrangements may also be considered.
