About the Role
Reporting directly to the Dealer Principal, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Service Department while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and strong workshop performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing the Service Department team to achieve operational and financial targets.
- Driving workshop productivity,
efficiency and profitability.
- Ensuring outstanding customer service from booking through to motorcycle handover.
- Coaching, mentoring and developing Service Advisors and Technicians.
- Managing workshop scheduling, labour utilisation and workflow processes.
- Working collaboratively with the Parts Department to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitoring key performance indicators and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Managing warranty processes and ensuring compliance with Harley‑Davidson standards.
- Building robust relationships with customers and the local riding community.
About You
You are a proven leader who understands the importance of combining operational excellence with exceptional customer service.
- Previous experience as a Service Manager, Workshop Controller or Senior Service Advisor within the automotive or motorcycle industry.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A customer-first approach and passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Proven experience driving workshop performance and achieving business targets.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound understanding of workshop systems, processes and dealership operations.
- A passion for motorcycles and an appreciation for the Harley‑Davidson brand and culture.
