This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supervising and coordinating field crews delivering civil construction, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and Traffic signals projects. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards while leading and mentoring crews in the field.

Key responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision

- Lead and supervise civil and ITS field crews on a daily basis.
- Allocate work activities and ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and on-the-job training to team members.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
- Coordinate subcontractors and site personnel as required.

Project Delivery

- Assist Project Managers and Operations Managers with project delivery activities.
- Coordinate labour, plant, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, standards, and schedules.
- Monitor productivity and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
- Meet project milestones, deadlines, and budget expectations.

Quality Assurance

- Deliver high-quality workmanship across civil and ITS projects.
- Ensure installations comply with client, industry, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain quality inspections, records, and project documentation.
- Promote continuous improvement in site practices and work methods.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Respond professionally to client requirements and site issues.
- Ensure works are completed with minimal disruption to customers and the public.
- Contribute to repeat business opportunities through exceptional service delivery.





Reporting & Administration

- Complete accurate daily reports, timesheets, and site records.
- Maintain project documentation and compliance records.
- Support management with productivity tracking and project performance reporting.

What We're Looking For

- Teamwork qualities and self-motivation
- Attention to detail and pride in all aspects of the work produced by yourself and the crew
- Experience with installing conduits, cable hauling, pits, footings and traffic signal infrastructure
- Experience in working with TfNSW, Local Council and Government entities
- Strong communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow company procedures in relation to documentation and compliance-Quality, WHS & Environmental Management
- Current Driver's License - MR/HR preferred
- Excavator VOC
- Willingness to work a range of shifts, Inc: Day / Night / Away
