Warehouse Supervisor - Food Production & Dispatch

Full-time | Brisbane | Growing Patisserie Producer

We're looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join our fast-paced wholesale kitchen and support our daily dispatch operations. This role works closely with our Assistant Manager and plays a key part in ensuring our products are quality-checked, correctly labelled, stored, picked, packed and ready for next-day delivery.

About the Role

n

n
- Work directly with the Assistant Manager to coordinate daily dispatch
n
- Lead a small warehouse team (4-6 people)
n
- Oversee finished goods from production through to storage, pick, pack and loading
n
- Maintain cold-chain, HACCP and food-safety standards
n
- Apply Just-In-Time (JIT) principles to ensure efficient flow of finished goods
n
- Support Lean Manufacturing practices to reduce waste and improve workflow
n
- Operate a forklift for pallet movement and warehouse organisation
n
- Complete ad-hoc deliveries once production is finished

- Maintain clean, organised cool rooms and work areas
n
- Support production planning and workflow when required
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- A food background and a genuine love of food
n
- Knowledge of Just-In-Time (JIT) and Lean Manufacturing principles
n
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one)
n
- Clean and safe driving record
n
- Experience in foodservice, FMCG or warehouse picking
n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Understanding of HACCP, OH&S; and cold-chain processes
n
- Ability to work calmly, safely and professionally
n
- A team-focused attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
n
