Job Description

- Ensure optimal casting of artistic talent across the studio, through the scheduling and prioritisation of resources across multiple projects
- Work with Head of Department to balance team experience, skills, and development needs
- Induct recent crew into production and department processes
- Manage and report on department overtime and TOIL to key stakeholders
- Develop and oversee leave strategies considering utilization, cross-show demands, and artist wellbeing
- Conduct regular check-ins with crew
- Lead processes for team performance reviews, feedback, and identifying professional development opportunities
- Approve timesheets accurately and keep internal systems up to date




- Participate in interviews and contribute to department hiring decisions
- Provide regular reporting to Management

Skills and Experience

- Excellent communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and proactive task ownership
- Calm, level-headed approach under pressure
- Solid understanding of VFX pipeline and the VFX industry
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of HR practices and performance management
