Troocoo Government is supporting a key Queensland Government client to recruit multiple AO3 Service Officers for temporary contract opportunities based in the Brisbane CBD. These contracts are expected to commence on 12 October 2025 and will run through to 31 October 2026 (potential for extension), offering $51.12 per hour plus 12% super.

About the Role
As an AO3 Service Officer, you will play a key role in delivering quality client service while supporting debt recovery, compliance and enforcement outcomes.

Working within a collaborative team environment, you will engage with clients via phone, email and written correspondence, assess information, interpret legislation, and contribute to achieving key service delivery objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage high volumes of inbound and outbound client interactions via phone, email and written correspondence.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and support the recovery of outstanding debts.
- Analyse client information and determine appropriate actions in line with relevant legislation and policies.
- Investigate and resolve complex client matters through sound judgement and problem-solving.
- Process applications, financial information and requests in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records across multiple internal systems.
- Provide clear, accurate and consistent information and advice to clients.
- Contribute to team performance outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.




- Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining a client-focused approach.

About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently manage challenging conversations.
- Experience in debt collection, revenue recovery, insurance claims or other high-volume customer contact environments (desirable).
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making capability.
- The ability to interpret and apply legislation, policy, procedures or complex business rules.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when managing casework and correspondence.
- Experience navigating multiple systems simultaneously to manage, retrieve and analyse information.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A cooperative approach and commitment to delivering quality customer outcomes.
- Previous insurance industry experience will be highly regarded.
- An ability to provide two professional references and a clear National Criminal History Check.
