- Full-time | 6-month contract | 5 days a week onsite (8am-4pm)

Impact of the role

As the Customer Service Administrator, you will be a key point of contact for supporters, providing warm, professional and empathetic customer service across phone, email and written communications.

You will help ensure every donor interaction is handled efficiently and with care, while also supporting the accurate processing of donations, maintaining CRM records and assisting with administration across multiple fundraising campaigns.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in customer service, administration, call centres or another customer-facing environment who enjoys helping people, solving problems and creating positive experiences. Previous fundraising experience is not essential.

With your robust communication skills, attention to detail and customer-first approach,



you will play an important role in building positive and lasting relationships with supporters.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide warm and professional customer service across phone and email enquiries.
- Accurately process donations, receipts, refunds and supporter updates within Salesforce.
- Prepare and send welcome packs and other supporter communications.
- Assist with resolving payment enquiries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supporter records within the CRM.
- Ensure enquiries and supporter interactions are responded to and recorded promptly.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
- Support the development and maintenance of donor care policies and procedures.
- Assist and support volunteers during peak fundraising periods.
- Provide administrative support to the fundraising and marketing teams across campaigns and small projects.

Skills and Experience

- Previous experience in customer service, administration, call centres or a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a genuine enjoyment of helping people.
- Warm, empathetic and professional approach to customer interactions.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when working with customer or supporter data.
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.




- Confident problem-solver with the ability to manage enquiries and complaints positively.
- Comfortable working across databases, systems and administrative processes.
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM system would be advantageous.
- A genuine interest in working within a purpose-led or not-for-profit environment.
