About you:

We are looking for an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in international/overseas sourcing, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering, hardware, building products or similarly product-focused environment.

Job Description:

- Review architectural plans, engineering drawings, specifications, selections and construction programs for each duplex project.
- Prepare a detailed procurement schedule aligned with the construction program.
- Identify long-lead items early, such as windows, bricks, roof materials, structural steel, cabinetry, appliances, tiles, stone, plumbing fixtures and electrical equipment.
- Establish deadlines for quotations, selections, purchase orders, manufacture and delivery.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Site Supervisors so materials arrive when required without excessive stock sitting on site.
- Monitor upcoming projects and forecast purchasing requirements across the company’s entire pipeline.
- Identify suitable suppliers and subcontractors for each trade/package.
- Obtain competitive quotations and ensure quotes are based on the same scope.
- Develop and maintain an approved/preferred supplier and subcontractor database
- Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to obtain preferential pricing and service.
- Ensure subcontractors receive sufficient drawings,



specifications and scope information to quote accurately.
- Prepare quote comparison sheets identifying differences in price, inclusions, exclusions and qualifications.
- Clarify discrepancies before orders or contracts are awarded.
- Negotiate delivery charges, payment terms, warranties and rebates.
- Review annual price increases and challenge unjustified increases.

Qualifications and Skills requirement:

Must present bachelor or higher degree

- Minimum one-year skills in the same position
- If qualification not presented, the applicant should provide 5 years of work experience to substitute the qualification requirement.
- Strong experience sourcing from and managing suppliers across Asia
- Proven capability across supplier selection, negotiation and supplier development
- Experience managing large and complex SKU portfolios
- Solid commercial and analytical capability
- Experience working with product development and new product introduction
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
- Strong supplier relationship and negotiation capabilities
- A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to operate strategically
- Degree-level qualifications in a relevant discipline
