Join our team as a part-time Horse Collector, perfect individuals with a passion for animals. You'll be responsible for respectfully collecting deceased horses, ensuring their dignified handling and care. As a horse collector, you'll be responsible for respectfully collecting deceased horses, ensuring their dignified handling and care.

Duties of a Horse Collector:

Navigation of daily runs with efficiency

Operate cremation and ashes processing equipment

Collect deceased Horse in a respectful and dignified manner

Collect pets from owner's homes

Return pet ashes to client's homes and vet clinics

Ensure the vehicle and work areas are maintained at the highest standards

Strong verbal skills and ability to communicate effectively with empathy

About you:





Have a passion for animals and comfortable providing aftercare services for pets

Hold a full driver's license (heavy rigid) with no restrictions

Lift up to 25kgs unassisted and have ability to perform a wide variety of manual labour tasks

Able to reverse a trailer - similar size to a horse float. Practical demonstration of reversing trailer may be required.

Must be available to work on weekends, ad hoc basis during weekdays

Comfortable working in a sensitive environment and being exposed to grief
