Electrician / Leading Hand (Solar, Battery and Off-Grid) Alliance Electrical Contractors Pty Ltd - Mullumbimby NSW

Alliance Electrical is a Mullumbimby based electrical contractor working across the Northern Rivers, from Tweed down to Ballina. We cover residential, light commercial, and solar, battery and off-grid.

We have more work booked than our current team can cover. We are hiring at two levels: a leading hand who can run jobs, and a qualified electrician working toward that.

THE WORK Current and upcoming work includes:

Recent builds, full rough-in and fit-off, working to the builder's program

Renovations and full rebuilds

Large-scale off-grid installations

Solar and battery installations, including retrofits

Light commercial projects

We are SAA accredited for solar, Sigenergy specialists, and accredited installers for Tesla and Enphase. The crew that wires a renovation is the same crew that returns to install the battery, so you will work across all three areas rather than specialising in one.

All work is local. You will be home every night.

AS A LEADING HAND

Running jobs from rough-in through to fit-off, to the builder's program

Supervising and organising apprentices on site

Ordering materials and managing supplier accounts

Liaising with builders and clients on site, including variations

Ensuring all work complies with AS/NZS 3000 and sites are kept safe and tidy

AS A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN





Carrying out residential and light commercial work, rough-in through to fit-off

Solar, battery and off-grid installations alongside our solar division

Fault finding, service work and switchboard upgrades

Working alongside apprentices and assisting their development

Progressing to running your own jobs as your experience allows

WHAT WE NEED

Current NSW electrical licence with Qualified Supervisor certificate

Construction Induction card (White Card)

Current driver's licence with a clean driving record

Based in the Northern Rivers, or relocating to the area

For the leading hand rate, proven experience running your own jobs and liaising with builders on site.

Desirable, and we will fund these where required: SAA solar accreditation, battery (GCBS) and stand alone power systems (SPS), first aid and CPR, working at heights, EWP.

WHAT WE OFFER

$42 to $50 per hour depending on experience and licences, plus 12% superannuation

Performance based KPI bonuses in addition to the hourly rate

Company vehicle and fuel card provided

Work phone, power tools, consumables and PPE provided

38 ordinary hours, Monday to Friday, with a paid RDO accruing as you go

Accreditations and training funded, with a clear path to leading hand or supervisor

We are looking to have someone start within four weeks.
