Loader Operator – Afternoon Shift Full-Time | Immediate Start Available
We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Afternoon Shift Loader Operator to join our busy production team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high operational and safety standards.
About the Role Reporting to the Production Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of plant and equipment, maintaining consistent raw material supply, and meeting daily production targets across our site.
Key Responsibilities
Operate front-end loaders and associated plant equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain continuous supply of raw materials to production lines (CBL, Woodfibre, Baling/Bagging)
Perform daily pre-start checks, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment
Monitor stockpiles to ensure proper segregation and inventory control
Prevent cross-contamination of materials during handling
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping across the site
Complete accurate daily production reports
Identify and report plant faults, breakdowns, and safety hazards
Assist with plant operations, trials,
and general production tasks as required
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience operating front-end loaders or similar machinery
Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
Must be available for occasional Saturday overtime
Must be computer literate
Please note: you must be willing to undergo a Police Check and pre-employment Medical including Drug and Alcohol screening
