to join a well-established medical centre and take a key role within the nursing team.
This is a
hands-on clinical and leadership position , ideal for an experienced General Practice Nurse who enjoys patient care while also being confident providing guidance and support to the wider nursing team.
You will continue to work clinically across the treatment room, including chronic disease management, health assessments and care plans, triage, vaccinations and immunisations, wound care, pathology collection, recalls, cold chain management and sterilisation.
Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will take the lead within the nursing team, supporting day-to-day operations, maintaining clinical standards and processes, and working closely with the Practice Manager and GPs to ensure the practice delivers a high standard of patient care.
Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Previous General Practice nursing experience is essential
Experience in chronic disease management, health assessments and care plans
Strong treatment room and clinical nursing experience
Confidence providing leadership, guidance and support to other nurses
Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Current immunisation and first aid certifications
