We are currently seeking a hands-onexperienced

Front Office Receptionist/Night Auditor to join our dedicated and professional accommodation team at the Mercure Sydney Rouse Hill.

Our ideal candidates for this hands-on role, will be a well presented individual, with at least one years' experience in a similar role in a similar environment. You are a first point of contact and a friendly face for the concierge of the hotel during the evening and overnight trade. You are competent in all facets of night auditing including:

Welcome and assist guests with a warm and professional approach.

Manage check-ins, check-outs, reservations, room allocations and guest enquiries.

Handle guest requests, complaints and service recovery in a qualified manner.

Process payments, invoices and other front office transactions accurately.

Answer telephone calls,



emails and general guest enquiries.

Checking-in late night arrivals and settling accounts for early departures;

Assisting guest requests including switchboard operations and reservations;

Complete Night Audit processes for end of day rollover;

Completing necessary reconciliation and reports;

Proficiency in the hotel system Opera Cloud and knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred. This position will report to the Hotel Manager.

We require flexibility as this position will consist of

DAY

shifts as well as

NIGHT

shifts from approximately

11 PM until 7 AM

including

weekends

and

public holidays , on a rotational roster.
