We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated

Disability Support Worker

to join the team at Grow Together Supports Pty Ltd. This is a

Casual Position

based

Melbourne's Outer Eastern Suburbs.

In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live as independently as possible whilst maintaining their dignity and promoting their personal development. This position is crucial to our mission of enabling people with disabilities to participate fully in their communities and achieve their personal goals.

Key responsibilities You will professionally undertake and provide

Personal care

Daily living assistance

Community access

Overnight supports

Capacity building

Support to clients to effectively regulate emotional and behavioural distress through positive behavior support

Quality progress notes

Detailed incident reports

About you You will be a dedicated and caring person with a professional and supportive approach to disability support.

With excellent communication skills, and a focus on truly understanding client needs and desires, you will provide the right support for each client.

Remaining calm and professional in stressful situations, you will implement behaviour support plans that promote the well-being of all involved.

The legal right to work in Australia

NDIS Worker Screening Check- Or willing to apply upon acceptance

A valid driver's license

Working with Children Clearance

National Police Clearance

Mandatory NDIS worker training modules

Two current skilled references
